yesterday i went out with a friend. it was a nice evening. she showed me a good restaurant in ehrenfeld. ehrenfeld is a hip district in cologne right now with a lot of bars and discos. also the underground is in ehrenfeld.

afterwards she took me to "kölner lichter" which is an amazing firework with music above the rhein.

the queerelas are a female samba band who gave a little concert before and after the firework. they are great! did you ever go to the brasilian night at the republic in salzburg? yes, exactly, they are just like the drummers there.

yes, finally i'm in cologne! i got here on thursday, 27th july 2006. it was a long ride by train, it took me exactly 9 hours without the 1 hour trip to the train station in freilassing.

the start here in my new WG was really a lot of fun! it was christians birthday on friday, 28th july, so they just asked me to party with them. happy birthday again, christian!!! so i came to cologne on thursday. my first night was a bit hot and humid - the weather here is even worse than in austria!!!! - but really fine. i slept almost like a rock :O)

on friday i went groccery shopping and made a small trip to the centre of cologne to register here. after that janosch and bernhard took me to ikea *g* well, ikea is always very dangerous! we bought a lot! in the evening christian and everybody else had a nice party at the house and afterwards we went to the underground which is a really nice alternative location! with reggae, scar and rock stuff :O) i loved it there! http://www.underground-cologne.de/

last days at home

well, i try to enjoy my last days at home. only 3 days left and a lot to do! i have to pack my stuff. for summer, fall and winter! and everything should fit into 1 bag. good luck ;O)

i'm going to miss a lot of things!!! my family, my friends, my room at the fh-campus! oh yes, i really miss it!!!! and baamhakke, of course ;O) but i'm going to come back *hihi*
